Consumers are increasingly encouraged to consider the ethical implications of their consumption behaviours and it could be argued that ‘ethical ideology’ is a fashionable trend in the marketplace with, for example, the rise of veganism and expectations that organisations will address sustainability or social responsibility.
Critically evaluate the current marketplace and the issues that consumes need to navigate in order to be ethical and why this may be difficult for consumers to adopt.
